The carmaker’s global brand value witnesses a rise of 3% to touch US $13.5 billion!
The latest rankings published by global brand specialist Interbrand has Hyundai Motor, once again ranked among the highest valued brands in the world once again. There has been an excellent 3% rise in brand value for Hyundai since 2017, with the figures now touching $13.5 billion. This has unsurprisingly placed the brand among the top 40 Best Global Brands for the fourth year in a row. Hyundai currently has to it , the title of the world’s 36th most valuable brand.
“Hyundai Motor is an innovative and creative brand that continually develops and implements new vehicle functions that our customers want, providing them with seamless automotive experiences, so we are thrilled to see the company’s brand value increase continuously year over year,” said Wonhong Cho, Chief Marketing Officer at Hyundai Motor Company. “Recent developments in the automotive industry, such as electrification, connectivity and autonomous driving, present huge opportunities for Hyundai to be a leading force in the future of global mobility.”
In automotive rankings, the Korean brand now stands sixth in the world, an aftermath of an era of exponential growth for the brand that had started back in 2005.

Hyundai currently boasts of having achieved quite a number of significant milestones in the automotive industry, NEXO- the world’s first Hydrogen powered SUV, the truely futuristic eco-car-line-up including the electric KONA, IONIQ etc to name a few… Besides these, the brand currently is also on a mission to bring about revolutions in the future of mobility through constructive collaborations with a number of external parties like Cisco, Baidu Inc., and SoundHound Inc.
