Royal Enfield Delivers Limited Edition 650-twins

The special edition motorcycles find a set of special owners as well!

Royal Enfield starts deliveries of its 120th-anniversary edition 650-twin motorcycles. Celebrating 120 glorious years of the brand, the special edition Continental GT 650 and Interceptor 650 were previously showcased at EICMA 2021. Just 480 units of these were ever made, distributed among India, Europe, the Americas, and South-East Asia markets, 120 units each. These were listed for a flash sale in December last year.

Gallantry award winner and Rear Admiral of the Indian Navy, Philipose G Pynumootil, Olympic medal-winning shooter Gagan Narang, and Malayalam film actor Dhyan Sreenivasan were the most notable ones to have received the motorcycles.

The new bikes are designed by Royal Enfield’s teams in the UK and India. The special edition Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 have a unique black-chrome colorway. The overall color scheme is complemented by an array of blacked-out components with the engine, silencer, etc.

The bikes have a special hand-crafted die-cast badge on the fuel tank alongside the legendary RE hand-painted pinstripes. Additional elements such as flyscreens, engine guards, heel guards, touring, and bar end mirrors are in Black as well.

Royal Enfield claims to have received over 17,000 registrations before the flash sale went live in December and also reveals the 120 units to have been sold in just 120 seconds.
