Porsche 911 Carrera Bursts Into Flames After Crash In Gurugram

A Porsche 911 Carrera went off the road and caught fire in Gurugram on Thursday morning

The Rs.2.2 crore supercar was reduced to ashes after the severe impact

However, the driver of the car,  Mankirat Singh, a resident of Sushant Lok-1, escaped miraculously with burns and injuries on his arms and legs

The Porsche went off the road, reportedly after steering the car sharply to avoid hitting a dog in the middle of the road. 

The driver lost the control of the car completely and ended up hitting a tree on the roadside. He managed to get out of the car just before the fire broke out

The Porsche was completely destroyed in the fire, leaving only the rear end of the car intact

It is still unclear if the driver was speeding or not. Police haven't received any complaint from the driver but have recorded his statement

The crashed Porsche 911 Carrera is a 380 hp, 3.0L sportscar whose top speed is around 290 kmph.
